Established in 2010, ELTE’s Summer University program hosts high-level, research-oriented,
interdisciplinary and innovative academic courses as well as workshops for professional
development. Courses involve distinguished ELTE professors, excellent advanced
doctoral students or post-doctoral researcher and professionals.
Courses offer various curricula for academic development across a wide spectrum
of disciplines. These include human studies (history, philosophy, cultural studies,
literature, linguistics, media studies), musical studies, sciences, legal studies,
political science, sociology and many others.
ESU brings together groups of interested individuals coming from varied geographical,
cultural and academic background to study intensively for two weeks in Budapest.
The multi-cultural and cross-age composition of the courses provides a stimulating
environment for engaging participants in an inspiring and enriching dialogue during
the summer university.
The general application deadline is June 15, 2010, unless specified otherwise on
the course website. For earlier or later deadline please consult our web page.

ESU package includes the following:

tuition of 10, 20 or 30 contact hours per week

students’ card entitling to following discounts: transport (urban, train,
bus, ship), museums, etc.

some social and cultural events (welcome and farewell reception, fieldtrips, film
screenings, etc.)

Scholarships available for Belorussian citizens | |
|
Eötvös Loránd University hereby forwards the scholarship scheme of the European
Union for Belorussian citizens. The applicants can apply for the tuition fees and
a scholarship at the Open Europe Scholarship Scheme.
