Summer dormitory application 2023
Who can apply?
Every international student with active or passive study status at ELTE can apply in this proceeding. Living in the dormitories in the spring semester is not a prerequisite of applying. It is possible to apply to a dormitory in another city than where the student is studying at.
Those, who are finishing their studies in the ongoing semester (will have absolved or closed study statuses from July), may stay with a lease agreement if the dormitory leader agrees.
Summer dormitories, summer fees
This application includes the summer dormitories of Budapest and Szombathely. International students can apply to the following summer dormitories:

Dormitories that are not mentioned above will not accommodate international students during the summer break.
Students with Stipendium Hungaricum, Young Christians, and Hungarian Diaspora scholarships do not pay dormitory fee while they are eligible to the accommodation allowance of their scholarship. Their accommodation allowances will be transferred directly to the dormitory for each begun calendar month of when the student is registered at least for a day in the dormitory.
How to apply?
The application form is available in the Neptun. Log in at hallgato.neptun.elte.hu, open the Student web, then choose the “Summer Dormitory Application 2023” form in the Administration / Requests menu.
Pay attention to the city of the dormitory! The selected dormitories show only your preferences, but you can be accepted to any dormitory. You can apply to July and/or August separately. The answers can be changed until you click on the “Send” button on the confirmation page. After you click on “Send” (which is necessary to have a valid application!), the application becomes final, and you will not be able to change it anymore.
The application is active
from 26th of May 2023, 18:00 (CET)
until 15th of August 2023, 23:59 (CET).
Result
Every applicant will get the result at the same time, expectedly in the middle of June. The decision will be available in the Neptun, while an additional e-mail will share more details and practical matters (moving in and out, room assignment, fees, etc.), so make sure to check your spam folder as well!
A summer dormitory place does not grant a dormitory place from September in any of the dormitories!
Accommodation documents
The Dormitory Centre can issue a proof of accommodation or dormitory certificate only if and after you are accepted to a summer dormitory.
