“First of all, I was amazed by the building, the facilities, and the equipments. Moreover, I really liked the friendly environment, as there are nice places to relax or study during the breaks on campus.”

Why ELTE?

My first choice was studying as an Erasmus student in Budapest. Other students who had already studied there highly recommended ELTE because of the good quality of studies and the variety of classes in English.

What did you like most about being a student at ELTE?

First of all, I was amazed by the building, the facilities, and the equipments. Moreover, I really liked the friendly environment, as there are nice places to relax or study during the breaks on campus. Also, teachers are very close to the students and whenever I had any questions they were willing to help me.

What were the challenges in your study program?

I would say for sure that the biggest challenge for me was the adaptation to a new country which is totally different from mine in every aspect (culture, weather, food, way of living etc). Another big challenge was to have classes in English but soon I was able to keep up with the language.

How do you think your degree will help you in your life and career?

At first, it helps me not only on an educational level, getting all the necessary knowledge to find a job but also on a personal level, learning to be cooperative, creative, decisive, and communicative having done team projects.

Do you have any advice for future students at ELTE?

I would advise them to get the most out of their time in Budapest and enjoy not only the social life and the beauties of the city but also the educational chances to learn new things that will help them with their future careers.
