The community of Eötvös Loránd University proudly extends its heartfelt congratulations to László Krasznahorkai, former student of ELTE, on receiving this exceptional recognition.
László Krasznahorkai's lifework has been a defining part of contemporary Hungarian and world literature. His prose continues the most noble traditions of Hungarian literature with its uique rich useage of the language, deep thoughts and universal topics, while also reaching an international audience.
It is a special honor for ELTE that the award-winning writer once studied at our university. His work and achievements serve as a source of inspiration and pride for our entire community.
