Short description

The aim of the MARIHE program is the renewal, innovation and internationalisation of higher education institutions, enhancing attractiveness of EHEA, development of management competences of students and thus enhancing their labour market opporunities.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have at least a Bachelor degree issued by a higher education institution (quantified as three years of studies corresponding to 180 ECTS). If ECTS is not used in countries where the first degree was acquired: proof of a period of studies at higher education level considered comparable with a Bachelor’s degree (on decision of the Consortium Board, in accordance with the national and institutional regulations of the Partners).

C2 Proficiency, formerly known as Cambridge English: Proficiency/CPE,with a minimum result of Level C1.

Each Partner will nominate at least two persons to review eligible applications. Each application will be reviewed independently by two reviewers. The reviewers will assess applications according to three criteria:

  • the applicant’s academic quality,
  • the applicant’s motivation and justification of the application in relation to prior studies, work experience (if applicable) and future career plans towards the aims of MARIHE
  • the applicant’s personal skills.

For each criterion up to nine points can be assigned. The Financial and Administrative Handbook will provide detailed information on this. The points from the two criterions “academic quality” and “motivaton and justification” are doubled, and the points from the two reviewers are added up
