ABOUT THE ICM PROGRAMME AT EÖTVÖS LORÁND UNIVERSITY (ELTE)

The International Credit Mobility (ICM) Programme, also known as the Key Action 107 project, is one of the newest strategic programmes of the European Commission within the Erasmus+ framework. Dating from 2015, the ICM programme is still considered to be a young, relatively new opportunity for Higher Education Institutions, with a steadily growing base of intrigued participants, both academics and students. Not only is the project fully committed to establishing a high-quality partnership with partners outside of the European Union, but also amply provides these efforts with legal, financial and moral support.

ELTE was the most active Hungarian Higher Education Institution in Hungary when the KA107 project launched in 2015 and the momentum of the university has not diminished since. A steady growth in the number partner universities, regions and mobility numbers can be observed, which culminates into the present project period of 2018-2020, where ELTE has 26 partner institutions in 17 countries spread all across the globe including Argentina, China, Canada, Egypt, Japan and the USA. By inviting its partners to Budapest, ELTE aims to share mutual experiences and good practices to increase the awareness of the programme at ELTE, for both the partners and academics.

Ultimately, the 2nd International Credit Mobility Staff Week intends to provide an appropriate place and time for its partners for discussing the hot topics and controversies the KA107 programme evokes in the minds of those, who work with mobile participants on a daily basis.
