Assembly of the Senate of Eötvös Loránd University

At this festive general assembly, honorary doctorates are awarded by ELTE. The university confers the title Doctor et Professor Honoris Causa to scientists who have been involved in a fruitful scientific collaboration with ELTE for several decades. 

Our new honorary doctors are:

• Armin von Bogdandy, professor of the Goethe University Frankfurt
• Wim van den Brink, professor of the University of Amsterdam
• Zsolt Cséfalvay, professor of the Comenius University in Bratislava
• Marie-Vic Ozouf-Marignier, professor of the EHESS in Paris
• Simon Thompson, professor of the University of Kent.
