Call for all students! Post about a book and enhance inclusion!
Recommend your favorite book originating from your homecountry by posting a picture of it on your Instagram profile and using the hashtag #BOYL (Book of Your Life)! The book can be eighter open or closed on the photo, however, it is recommended to make the title and the author’s name visible.

Write a short recommendation alongside the photo where you share with us what that book means to you or why it's worth reading!

Write in the post:

  • the title of the book
  • the name of the author
  • the country of origin
  • and 3-5 sentences about your connection to this book OR a quote from it
  • #BOYL

We are excited to learn about all the inspiring books you’ve read! Books recommended during the campaign will be located in the collection of ELTE Libraries and if not yet available, they may be purchased by the University Library and Archives!

The Library invites you to participate in this campaign as part of their cultural inclusivity project called Book of Your Life! The BOYL-project aims to bring the international and local students together, and to make the library a more inclusive space. The concept of supporting the integration of international students arriving at ELTE won a grant from the European Cultural Foundation and is part of the European Challenge.

The Europe Challenge is an annual program that brings together libraries and communities across Europe to address pressing challenges in their local areas. The program was first launched in 2020 by the European Cultural Foundation and partners. The Europe Challenge is supported by Fondazione Cariplo, the Scottish Library and Information Council, and by public funding through Arts Council England!
