Call for Posters: University Alliances as catalysts for European Competitiveness

The CHARM-EU Annual Conference 2025 will spotlighting how European University Alliances can contribute to competitiveness through promoting innovation and sustainability. Poster proposals are invited from university citizens whose interests align with one or more focus topics of the event.

The CHARM-EU Annual Conference 2025 will take place on 12 November in Utrecht, exploring the theme “Boosting European Competitiveness: European University Alliances as Catalysts for Innovation and Sustainability in Higher Education.” The Alliance invites poster submissions from academics, university staff, students, doctoral researchers, alumni, and external partners whose work engages with higher education’s role in fostering competitiveness, innovation, and sustainability in Europe.

Contributions may be research-based, practice-driven, or policy-oriented, and may address topics such as the role of alliances, curricula that promote digital and green skills, research and lifelong learning initiatives, open science, student and researcher mobility, institutional agility, employability, or diversity and inclusion. Posters will be presented during the conference on 12 November in Utrecht and published on the CHARM-EU Resource Centre afterwards. A Best Poster Award will also be granted.

Deadline for submissions: 12 September 2025, with notifications of acceptance issued by 19 September. Final versions of accepted posters are due on 31 October.
