1. Accommodation

Spring Semester of the Academic Year 2023/24

The ELTE Dormitory Centre and the ELTE Housing Office announce their joint application to the accommodation services (dormitory and housing) of the 2023/2024 academic year’s spring semester for the new (freshman) international applicants and students of ELTE who will study in Budapest. We ask every international student of ELTE to apply even if they do not request any of these services, because their answers still help us determining the needs of the students and improve our offers and accommodation services.

Every dormitory application will have a result at the same time, expectedly on 15th of January 2024. The housing service is continuous, being independent and unaffected by the result of the dormitory application.

You can learn more about the accommodation services here (and its subpages). Please, read it before applying!

Every international ELTE applicant or student who is not yet enrolled at ELTE (does not have an active or passive student status) and who intends to study in Budapest is eligible to apply in this proceeding.

The application form is available here.

The dormitory and housing applications are in separate sections of the same form. The selected dormitories show only your preferences, but you can be accepted to any dormitory. You will be forwarded to a confirming page after you have clicked on the “Submit” button.

The application is active
from 15th of November 2023, 18:00
(CET)
until 11th of February 2024, 23:59 (CET).

Then the waiting list application will be available in the Neptun study system, for which incoming students need to register. To access Neptun, please ask the faculty administration.

Applying does not grant a place automatically.

The housing does not have a result, it is continuous, and requires the activeness of the applicant to book a place. We are going to contact you within a few days after receiving your application with the actual offers.

Every dormitory application will have a result at the same time, expectedly on 15th of January 2024. The Dormitory Centre will send the dormitory application’s result in e-mail with the subject “Letter of Acceptance to the ELTE … Dormitory” or “Letter of Rejection”. Make sure to check your spam folder as well!

If you have any questions, or you encounter any technical problem, contact our Dormitory Centre at info@dormitory.elte.hu or the Housing Office at housing@elte.hu.
