Dormitory and housing application to the 2021/2022 academic year for the non-first year international students
The COVID-19 epidemic had a serious impact on the student accommodations as well, with a great need for safety and flexibility.
The ELTE Dormitory Centre, including the Housing Office, asks every international student to make an application even if they do not apply to both or any services (dormitory and/or housing), because their answers still help us determining the needs of students and improve our offers and accommodation services.
We announce the dormitory and housing application to the 2021/2022 academic year for the non-first year international students.
Who can apply?
Every international student with at least one active or passive semester at ELTE is entitled to apply.
How to apply?
The application form is available in the Neptun. Log in at hallgato.neptun.elte.hu, open the Student web, then choose the “Dormitory and Housing Application 2021/2022” form in the Administration / Dormitory application menu.
Most questions are mandatory. The priority order of the dormitories does not mean any obligation neither to you nor to the Dormitory Centre, but you can be accepted only in a dormitory that is in the city of your studies.
The answers can be changed until you click on the “Send” button on the confirmation page. After you click on “Send” (which is necessary to have a valid application!), the application becomes final and you will not be able to change it anymore.
The form is active
from 31st May 2021, 18:00 (CET)
until 24th June 2021, 18:00 (CET).

Every applicant, regardless of the applied services, will be informed at the same time. The Dormitory Centre will send the result of the dormitory application in an e-mail with the subject “Letter of Acceptance to the ELTE … Dormitory” or “Letter of Rejection”, expectedly in the first days of July. Make sure to check your spam folder as well!
Please, note that national or university epidemic rules may determine further conditions of moving in (e.g. having protection certificate or equal documents, special rules for quarantine, etc.). We inform the accepted students about these news as soon as possible.
Accommodation documents issued by the Dormitory Centre about the next academic year can be made only if and after you are accepted to a dormitory. The dormitory’s Letter of Acceptance is enough to extend your residence permit in most cases even from distance.
Every housing partner provides the necessary accommodation documents after you sign a contract with them.
