ELTE Budapest Summer University 2021

ELTE is the top higher education institution in Hungary and alma mater of leading figures in technology, business, politics and public policy, and culture. As the leading research university in Hungary, we are dedicated to develop wide-ranging study programs for Hungarian and international students, facilitating the international involvement and networking of teaching and research staff, and stimulating students efficiently to participate in mobility programs.

ELTE Budapest Summer University is a summer program to fulfil our aims and priorities building on the professional background of the researchers at our faculties.

The summer university comprises several interdisciplinary courses for students.

Courses:

• The Rise and Fall of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy: Central European Identity, Cosmopolitan Cities & Trianon
• Hungary and the modern Olympic Games
• Social Traumas Living with Us
• Psychoanalysis, Art, Society and Culture in Hungary – The Budapest School of Psychoanalysis
• Supporting play of preschool-aged children regarding the development of emotional, social and cognitive skills
• How can I live among you? General principles and practices of care for persons with sensory disabilities in Hungary
