FFLCH/USP Summer School - Call for professors
The Faculty of Philosophy, Language, and Social Sciences (FFLCH) of the University of Sao Paulo (USP) opens a call for ten PhD professors who would like to teach seminars at the 6th edition of its Summer School, that will be held at FFLCH/USP and will run from March 4th to 8th, 2024.

The main goal of the seminars is to strengthen academic links between FFLCH/USP and its partner universities, through the creation of a space for academic visibility within which both academic and non-academic audiences may have access to the research carried out by guest professors. Therefore, applicants must be affiliated with one of the universities that have agreement with FFLCH/USP.

Applicants are invited to submit one-week seminar (totaling four days, two hours per day) in the main branches of history, geography, philosophy, political science, anthropology, language, literature, and linguistics. We are particularly interested in cross-subject courses, but applicants are free to choose the subject of their seminars. FFLCH/USP offers guest professors air tickets (economic class) and daily expenses (R$ 548,16).

The deadline for application is October 21th, 2023. Applicants are asked to send a CV and to submit a seminar proposal containing syllabus, objectives, description of each of the four sessions (3 hours per session) and bibliography, with the form on the link below filled in. The whole material must be sent to the international office (CCInt) of FFLCH/USP, at the following email: international.fflch@usp.br

Proposals will be analyzed and selected by a committee composed of professors of FFLCH/USP. The results will be released on October 30th, 2023.

As FFLCH is a public institution, its Summer School is free and open to all, whether academic or non-academic audiences.
