International Student Advisory Committee, EHÖK Foreign Affairs Committee meeting

The International Student Advisory Committee is a new organization established during the autumn semester, in order to achieve the necessary representation of the numerous international students of ELTE.

The event, held in the Faculty Hall of the Faculty of Law, started with a social media training session between the International Advisory Committee and the International Student Ambassadors. During the training the participants, present in person or online, had the chance to listen to presentations of Anikó Szücs from the International Strategy Office, and Athraa Alezzi a member of the Advisory Committee. After the informative presentations, the members started to establish the social media plan for the spring semester.

During the next part of the event, the members of the Advisory Committee listened to the introductions of the various faculties’ representatives from EHÖK, in order to learn more about the diverse structures of the faculty HÖK institutions. This will help both organizations to work more efficiently in the future for the internationalization of the University.

The whole event can be considered as a success, and a good next step to achieve a more inclusive university for the Hungarian and the international students alike.
