Kanagawa University Japanese Language and Culture Program winter

This program is designed to provide the opportunity to learn Japanese language and culture to students from all over the world. There will be 2 terms, and the Japanese language class level is different for each term.

The students will be able to participate in only a single term or both terms.

Term 1

Monday January 19 – Friday January 30, 2026 (two weeks) Japanese Class Level: Introductory～Beginner (Upper)

Capacity: 40 people

Application fee (Non-refundable): JPY 12,000 Program fee: JPY 78,000 Overseas Travel Insurance fee: JPY 7,110 (15days) Not including round-trip air fare, meals, housing, living expenses, transportation expenses, medical expenses etc.

Term 2

Monday February 2 – Friday Februray 13, 2026 (two weeks) Japanese Class Level: Beginner (Lower)～Pre-intermediate

Capacity: 40 people

Application fee (Non-refundable): JPY 12,000 Program fee: JPY 156,000 Overseas Travel Insurance fee: JPY 10,600 (29days) Not including round-trip air fare, meals, housing, living expenses, transportation expenses, medical expenses etc.

We ask all participants to take the overseas travel insurance designated by Kanagawa University. The insurance covers from the day before the program until the Sunday after the program ends.
