Orientation Day for International Students 2014/2015 Spring
Invitation
We warmly invite all students arriving for the Spring semester at ELTE to our next Orientation Day. We highly recommend you attending the event where you can meet fellow newly-arrived international students.
Time: 5 February 2015 (Thursday) 2:00 p.m.
Location: Faculty of Law, ELTE; 1053 Budapest, Egyetem tér 1-3
Room “Aula Magna” (1st floor) and “Aula” (ground floor, at the entrance)
Participation is free. No registration is necessary in advance.
During the Orientation Day you will hear about:
- ELTE in general
- Administrative to-do’s to get settled in Budapest (registration in Budapest, insurance) and to start your studies at ELTE (registration at the University, student ID)
- Services provided by the University (library, language learning)
- Ways to spend free time at ELTE (ESN ELTE, sports, university choir and orchestra, dance group)
On the Information Market you will have the chance to ask all your questions that may arise during your first days at ELTE. Talk to the international coordinators at the information desks.
Last-minute registration for the English and Hungarian language courses.
Ask the Office of Immigration and Nationality about how to register in Hungary (EEA students) or how to obtain your residence permit (non-EEA students).
Save time with administration! Our mentors will take you to the Quaestura Office where you can get your student certificate and Neptun login password from them on the spot.*
*You can get your student certificate and Neptun login password on the Orientation Day only ifyour data are recorded in the Neptun system until 4 February 2015. Talk to your faculty coordinator how and until when you need to register.

Faculty Orientation Events
Some of the faculties at ELTE also organize an orientation event. On these faculty events you can hear about studies, administrative issues, and social events of the faculty and you get the chance to meet instructors and senior students from your faculty.
