Hungarian Culture Fair and Hungarian Crash Courses

On the Hungarian Culture Fair you will learn some Hungarian cultural customs and traditions. You can subscribe and participate on a crash course in Hungarian, where you can acquire the most important expressions of Hungarian language. The mentors of ESN ELTE will teach you the tricks of handicrafts, such as “nemezelés” (planking), you can get a cool henna tattoo with traditional Hungarian motif or you can even take a picture in traditional Hungarian clothing. At the end of the program, you can try out some dance moves with ELTE Folk Dance Group.
Participation is free.

Are you curious about Hungarian language and culture? Or are you simply hesitant whether you should enrol for a Hungarian language course? This "crash course" gives you an impression about Hungarian language and culture and you can also sign up for the language course for the full semester.
Participation is free.

The intercultural workshop helps you prepare for your international experience in a foreign country. You can learn how you can deal with culture shock, and how you can use all this information during your studies at ELTE.

Meeting point: Heroes Square, in front of the entrance of the Museum of Fine Arts

ESN ELTE mentors will take you to the Immigration and Asylum Office where you can arrange your registration card or your residence permit for the purpose of studies.

Please note that this appointment is only for Non-EEA students who have already applied for the residence permit at the Hungarian Consulate in their home country.
