Scholarship for Master’s and PhD-level study in Bavaria
The Free State of Bavaria will sponsor scholarships for the 2026/27 academic year for graduates from Central, Eastern and Southeastern European countries, including Hungary.

The scholarships are meant to finance postgraduate studies (master's programs), PhDs or one-year research sojourns at Bavarian higher education institutions. The one-year scholarship can be generally extended twice for up to 3 years. The scholarship is paid out monthly (992,- €) and amounts to 11.904,- € per year. Potential host institutions include the University of Würzburg, a partner university of ELTE within the CHARM-EU Alliance.
