Shaping Mindsets for Inclusive Workplaces
The research project "Shaping Mindsets for Inclusive Workplaces" is currently being implemented at Eötvös Loránd University.

Identification of a Social Problem

Despite the progress made in the past decade, people with disabilities still face significant barriers, with a higher risk of poverty and social exclusion within their group. The European Union Strategy on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2021-2030) emphasizes equality of opportunity and accessibility. The goal of this strategy is to ensure that all people with disabilities in Europe can enjoy their human rights, participate in social processes and economic life on an equal footing, regardless of gender, race, ethnic origin, religion or belief, age, or sexual orientation. In Hungary, various political and economic efforts aim to promote diversity as a value in the market environment, but without practical support, they may not achieve the desired results.

Expected Social/Economic/Environmental Impact of the Research

As a mainstream corporate best practice in the international market environment, social responsibility and mindset shaping are crucial for domestic companies as well. These efforts support the employment and reintegration of individuals with disabilities into the labor market, serving as an element of their full social inclusion. The developed online test package can become part of the protocols, client journey processes, and implementation. It can also contribute to the development of professional service systems by connecting and facilitating collaboration among service networks and sectors (healthcare, education, civil society).
