Call for Applications – Exchange Student Scholarship at Heidelberg University

The International Strategy Office, Rector’s Cabinet ELTE, is now calling for applications within the framework of the institutional bilateral agreement between Eötvös Loránd University and Heidelberg University. Students can apply to study for one semester at Heidelberg University as tuition fee waiver exchange students.

General Information

Heidelberg University offers two scholarships for 2023. spring semester. The duration of the funding is 5 months.

Students can apply for 2023. spring semester.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Bachelor’s or Master’s students enrolled in a full-degree programme of Eötvös Loránd University
We are inviting applicants whose specific fields can be found at the University of Heidelberg: https://www.uni-heidelberg.de/en
Students with preferably high level of German language knowledge
Important: Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship holders can’t apply to this type of Scholarship

How to Apply

The application should include:

Curriculum vitae (in Hungarian or English)
Transcript of Records (in English)
An essay written in Hungarian or English in which the applicant describes why he or she would like to study at Heidelberg University and how the semester there would affect his or her learning and academic development. The essay should not exceed one A4 page.

The applicants can also attach certificates, publications, etc. These are considered as a plus at the application procedure.

Please, be aware that incomplete or otherwise faulty applications can be excluded from the selection process without prior notice. Upon applying to the Scholarship, the student accepts the usage of their data stored and regulated by the data regulation policy
