The "Best Erasmus+ Coordinator of ELTE" and the "Most Dinamically Developing Faculty of ELTE in Erasmus+" prizes were presented on 23 May 2019. Dr. Gábor Szalkai, coordinator of the Center of Geography at the Faculty of Science, Ms. Brigitta Dalnoki, outgoing mobility coordinator of the Faculty of Law, and Ms. Ildió Romanoczki, coordinator of the Faculty of Pre-School Education were proven to be the most effective coordinators this year sharing the first prize. The most dynamically developing Faculty this year was Faculty of Science.

In February 2018 the first Call for application have been announced to the prize of the best Erasmus+ coordinator and the most dynamically developing Faculty in Erasmus+ of ELTE. The aim of this idea was to award and honor the every-day work of the Erasmus+ international coordinators and the Faculties of the university plus to support the endeavours in increasing outgoing students mobility numbers. Atfer the success of last year’s application Department of Erasmus+ and International Programmes decided to announce the call again.

The prizes were presented according to the decision of the Student and Teaching Mobility Committee on 23rd May 2019 in the Spoon The Boat restaurant in Budapest.

The most dynamically developing Faculty in the Erasmus+ program this year was Faculty of Science, which managed to increase the outgoing student mobility number compared to the last call by 45%. The prize of the Faculty was 3000 EUR.

The second prize went to Faculty of Informatics, which increased its outgoing mobility numbers by 33% compared to the last call. The Faculty of Informatics is implementing a special program against early drop out and using E+ as one of the tool for prevention. This increase number of applicant is one of the first result of that initiative. The prize of the Faculty was 2000 EUR.

The third place winner of the category was Faculty of Law, which increased by 23% the outgoing student mobility number in the last call. Within the help of a traineeship database the faculty involves the highest number of outgoing students for training mobilities therefore defines the entire Erasmus+ programme of the university. The prize of the Faculty was 1000 EUR.

In this year several very good applications arrived to the competition for the prize "Best Erasmus+ Coordinator of ELTE". After long consideration the Student and Staff Mobility Committee of the University decided, that the first three best applicant will share the first prize of this competition, because the quality of their application and their work in this year is very similar to each other.

According to this the winners in 2019 were:

Ms. Ildikó Romanoczki, coordinator of the Faculty of Pre-School Education for her excellent application, dedication and pioneer work in the Faculty Erasmus+ programme.

Ms. Brigitta Dalnoki, outgoing mobility coordinator of the Faculty of Law for her excellent application, exceptional dedication for Erasmus+ promotion and work on the international traineeship database of the Faculty.

Dr. Gábor Szalkai, coordinator of the Center of Geography at the Faculty of Science for the best application in this call and for His 17 years of work in the Erasmus+ programme of the Center.

The coordinators won gratuity and additional contribution to an Erasmus+ staff mobility training fee.

The ceremony was organized as a part of the farewell dinner of the Intercultural Training.
