Hungarian Language Course
The aim of the course is to introduce students into the world of Hungarian language and to acquire the necessary grammatical and lexical skills to survive everyday situations. (To be able to read Hungarian, introduce themselves, greet someone, ask for information, shop, etc) Our teachers mainly use the communicative approach in language teaching.
The students are evaluated continuously verbally and on paper as well. The course ends with a a written exam, in case of a successful exam students attending the course get 3 credits.

English Language Course
The Language Centre of Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE ITK) offers preparatory courses in English to
foreign students applying to ELTE who need a working knowledge of
this language for their studies. Language courses are organized
individually or in groups on demand. We
recommend these courses for those who would like to brush up their
English before beginning their studies in Hungary or for those who
would like to improve their language skills while studying at the
University.
You can choose from
the following courses:
- Intensive courses starting 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the autunm and spring
semester: 4 weeks, 80 lessons
- Standard courses
during the semesters: 2x2 lessons per week (32 lessons)

Scholarships available for Belorussian citizens | |

Eötvös Loránd University hereby forwards the scholarship scheme of the European
Union for Belorussian citizens. The applicants can apply for the tuition fees and
a scholarship at the Open Europe Scholarship Scheme.
