Before the mobility

FOR ERASMUS+ SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS IN THE 2025/26 ACADEMIC YEAR

It is recommended to start the administration 6-8 weeks before the start of the mobility so the scholarship arrives by the start date of the mobility. In case of later administration the scholarship will also be paid later.

We recommend that you open a euro-based account for your Erasmus + scholarship.
All obligations related to travelling and staying abroad (travel, accommodation, visa, residence permit, etc.) should be managed and paid by the scholarship holder. You acknowledge the fact that amount of the Erasmus+ grant may be not enough to cover all incurred costs. The calls for additional financial suppports are available here.

For those who applied for a traineeship before 26 August 2025 and NOT in the Mobility-Online platform, we recommend that you create an advanced electronic signature authorization as soon as possible, to sign the Grant Agreement required for the scholarship transfer. You have the following options for this:

  1. Create a user account in the Digital Citizenship Program (DÁP), which you can apply for at any Hungarian local government office, or at Hungarian embassies and consulates, online with eSzemélyi (electronic identity card (eID)), or in person if you do not have one. If you are a Hungarian citizen, you will only need your Hungarian identity card; if you are a European Union citizen, you will need your EU identification (ID) card or passport; if you are a citizen of another country, you will need your passport. To register in the government window, you can request an appointment by clicking on the “Appointment” icon on the following page: https://ugyfelkapu.gov.hu/regisztracio. First, you must select the case group: “Digitális Állampolgárság Program”, and within that, “Digitális Állampolgárság Program előregisztráció”. Then select the location from the drop-down menu, first the county, then the Government Office for Administration. You must also enter a preferred date range and your contact information. The next page will display the available times at the locations you selected.
  2. Create a user account with one of the advanced electronic signature providers. There are several signature providers that meet the above criteria (see the list here).

Students applying via Mobility-Online can sign the Grant Agreement on that platform.

For students preparing for study mobility:
