Course description

The course provides advanced training on the fundamentals and applications of green chemistry:

  1. Halogenation of alkenes.

  2. Dehydration of alcohols.

  3. Synthesis of cyclohexane and adipic acid.

  4. Porphyrine synthesis.

  5. Microwave assisted synthesis.

  6. Diels-Alder reaction.

  7. Bioethanol synthesis.

  8. Benzoin condensation.

  9. Pechman reaction.

  10. Sun-light conversion.
