WHAT STOOD OUT TO YOU ABOUT ELTE?

What truly stood out to me about ELTE is the fascinating blend of academic excellence and historical significance. As one of Hungary's oldest and most prestigious universities, ELTE exudes a rich tradition of scholarship and learning. The moment I stepped onto the campus, I was immediately struck by the awe-inspiring architecture and the palpable sense of history that permeates the university.

WHAT MAKES STUDYING AT ELTE SO GREAT?

Studying at ELTE is a unique and enriching experience, particularly within the BA International Relations program. The program offers a stimulating curriculum designed to prepare students for the ever-evolving global landscape. The faculty members, many of whom are renowned scholars in international relations, provide an extraordinary level of expertise and insight. Budapest, as our backdrop, is a captivating and culturally vibrant city that enhances our international perspective. ELTE goes above and beyond to support students, providing extensive international student services, well-equipped libraries, and a diverse array of extracurricular activities that foster personal and academic growth.

WHAT ARE/WERE YOUR CHALLENGES IN YOUR STUDY PROGRAM?

Within the BA International Relations program at ELTE, I found the academic rigor to be simultaneously exciting and challenging. The program's high standards and the breadth of subjects it covers pushed me to consistently excel, which was demanding, yet incredibly rewarding. Furthermore, adapting to a new environment and culture is added to the experience.

HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THESE CHALLENGES?

To meet the academic challenges, I refined my study habits and developed effective time management skills to align with the program's rigorous requirements. Engaging with the program's professors and seeking their guidance played a pivotal role in my success. As for adapting to a new environment, immersing myself in Budapest's culture and actively participating in student organizations helped me feel more at home and open to new experiences.

My degree in International Relations from ELTE equips me with a profound understanding of global dynamics, diplomacy, and international cooperation. The program's emphasis on critical thinking, research, and analysis has honed my skills and instilled a deep-seated curiosity about the world. This education is directly relevant to my future career goals in diplomacy, international organizations, or global affairs. The opportunity to study in a vibrant international environment adds another layer of practical experience that I believe will be invaluable in my professional life.
