WHAT ARE / WERE YOUR CHALLENGES IN YOUR STUDY PROGRAM?
From the very beginning, I grappled with the tight schedule of the Faculty's midterm exams, which was a real challenge to balance my studies and personal life. However, I appreciate how this demanding schedule has pushed me forward to adapt, and enhanced my time management skills so that I have longer winter and summer breaks to relax and recharge since I can be exempted from the final exams by getting high scores on these midterm tests. Additionally, the demand of the economics field, which is always staying updated on global trends and statistics for practical problem-solving, was a common challenge for all economics students. Balancing real-world economic applications with theoretical concepts was both demanding and rewarding, requiring dedication, ongoing learning, and adaptability.
HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THESE CHALLENGES?
In the beginning, I committed to intensive study to adapt to a hectic exam schedule and understand the Faculty's teaching and testing methods. After weeks of adjustments, I was able to establish a more effective study-life balance. Moreover, dedicated lecturers played a crucial role in facilitating my access to interdisciplinary knowledge. I also appreciated the opportunities to advance my logical thinking skills through practical exercises and supplementary reading materials. Overcoming these challenges fostered my personal growth, deepened my commitment to International Business Economics, and developed my skills and passion for the field.
