International Student Integration Knowledge Centre (InSINC) is an institutional initiative aimed at strengthening international students’ integration, inclusion, and engagement at ELTE through coordinated communication, programming, research, and advisory support.
InSINC acts as a central knowledge and coordination hub, with the goal of connecting and aligning existing initiatives that help students feel fully included, valued, and engaged members of the ELTE community, without establishing new, parallel structures. InSINC fulfils an advisory role by sharing good practices and providing practical support to faculties, contributing to more consistent and effective approaches to international student integration across the University.
To ensure that international students have access to clear, structured, and student-centred information via an English-language platform and aligned communication channels, InSINC emphasise on improving information flow across the University. To this end, InSINC develops and maintains the Initiatives webpage, which provides clear, structured, and accessible information on programmes and opportunities relevant to students (i.e. mentoring, language support, arts and culture and academic and career support, etc.).
Areas of InSINC
Planning and supporting intercultural and community-building initiatives across all stages of the student journey for both international and Hungarian students;
Working in collaboration with student organisations and university units;
Operating with a research function by developing and maintaining evidence-based monitoring of international student integration and inclusion.
