Available scholarships

Before applying, please view the valid coronavirus regulations of ELTE.

Attention! Based on the latest regulations of the Hungarian National Agency in February 2021, in addition to physical exchange, virtual and hybrid (blended) incoming mobilities are also supported in the Spring Semester of 2020/21, until 31 August 2021.
  • Virtual: If physical mobility is not possible due to entry or institutional regulations, the exchange can be implemented in virtual form. In the case of virtual exchange, the scholarship holder can implement the professional program detailed in the application without physical mobility, that is, without travelling to the host country. For the virtual period the scholarship holder is entitled for a reduced amount of the physical grant. This type of exchange to available to both students and staff. It is subject to the prior declaration of the host ELTE faculty / department that the professional program can be completed in virtual form.
  • Hybrid: in the case of hybrid (blended) mobility, the mobility can be implemented partly in physical form and partly in virtual form (e.g. the mobility can be started in virtual form and then if the conditions allow it can be continued in physical form or vice versa). Currently, this type of exchange is only available to students (for studies - full semester), with the minimum period of 3 months for the physical form of the mobility. As the Spring semester has already started, this option only applies to those applicants who have already started their mobility in either physical or virtual form. Please consult your host ELTE faculty/department if they can host you in the tendered period for hybrid mobility.
  • More information about the new exchange types: English, Hungarian.
