Visegrad Fund

ELTE hosts exchange students with Visegrad Fund each year. The Visegrad Scholarship Program (VSP) offers Master’s and Post-Master’s scholarships (3,000 EUR/semester) to selected students and scholars for a maximum of two semesters.

 

Who are eligible to apply?

 

  • Master and PhD students

  • Scholars can apply even if they are no longer studying

  • No age limit

  • Applicants who have successfully completed at least 6 semesters of university studies (applies only to MA-level applicants)

  • Citizens of the following countries and territories:
    Albania (AL), Armenia (AM), Azerbaijan (AZ), Belarus (BY), Bosnia and Herzegovina (BA), Czech Republic (CZ), Georgia (GE), Kosovo (XK), North Macedonia (MK), Moldova (MD), Montenegro (ME), Poland (PL), Serbia (RS), Slovakia (SK), and Ukraine (UA)

 

How to apply?

 

Before you apply, you need to find a host department or professor for your studies and request a letter of acceptance that you need to submit with your application. 

To find a host department and to receive a letter of acceptance from an ELTE scientific staff, please contact the faculty coordinators of ELTE who can link you with the relevant department.

Submit your application

 

You need to submit your application online on the website of Visegrad Fund and send the signed application form with accompanying documents to Visegrad Fund by 15 April each year.
