The Summer Undergraduate Research Programme (SURP) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is now open for applications.
SURP provides an opportunity for international students to undertake research attachments for eight weeks during the summer. Students will be actively engaged in research under the supervision of a CUHK faculty member and earn three credits upon successful completion of the programme. In addition, a series of structured learning activities will be organised to enhance the students’ research experience. Students will also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture through various social activities and excursions.
SURP, as part of the CUHK International Summer School (ISS), receives students from our partner universities on an exchange basis (i.e. 4 SURP students are equivalent to 1 full-year student). Alternatively, students may participate in SURP on a fee-paying basis.
The nomination deadline is February 6, 2026. (Tuesday) Please contact Ms Ildikó Chmara at ildiko.chmara@rk.elte.hu in connection with nomination.
Programme dates: 21 June to 15 August 2026 (8 weeks)
