I’m Ana, a psychology student who loves reading, football, and hiking in nature. I’m from India, and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends whenever I can. I’m also very passionate about mental health and understanding people’s behavior.

WHAT STOOD OUT TO YOU ABOUT ELTE?

What stood out to me about ELTE was the diversity of its student community. The psychology program especially caught my eye because of its research focus and the chance to study in an academically rich environment in the heart of Europe.

WHAT MAKES STUDYING AT ELTE SO GREAT?

The professors are knowledgeable and approachable, and there are so many interesting courses to choose from. I also love the international atmosphere - I’ve met people from all over the world, which has really broadened my perspective.

WHAT ARE / WERE YOUR CHALLENGES IN YOUR STUDY PROGRAM?

One of the main challenges for me was learning how to manage large amounts of reading and assignments efficiently.

HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THESE CHALLENGES?

I created a detailed study schedule, joined study groups, and slowly found learning techniques that worked best for me. Asking for help when needed and staying organized made a huge difference.

HOW DO YOU THINK YOUR DEGREE WILL HELP YOU IN YOUR LIFE AND CAREER?

My degree is helping me understand human behavior on a deeper level, which is valuable in any career involving people - whether it’s in clinical work, research, or organizational settings. It’s also helped me grow personally and become more self-aware.

DO YOU HAVE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUTURE STUDENTS AT ELTE?

Be open-minded and curious. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, get involved in university life, and take advantage of all the resources ELTE offers. And most importantly - enjoy the journey!
