WHAT STOOD OUT TO YOU ABOUT ELTE?
Not only being one of the most prestigious universities in Central Europe, yet also among the oldest seats of higher education in Hungary makes Eötvös Loránd University one with the excellent reputation institutions, preserving the strong ties between education and research. For me the creative community of instructors and students is precisely what made it stood out among the other universities.
WHAT MAKES STUDYING AT ELTE SO GREAT?
ELTE truly exemplifies the endless possibilities that opens up when you put the power of knowledge and education in the hands of people who honestly believe they have a responsibility to make the world a better place for everyone. Having the chance to pursue a first degree in world affairs in ELTE means a high quality of education as well as numerous opportunities concerning the study field. ELTE provides multiple programs and classes in foreign languages not to forget the clubs and sport programs, making the studies in ELTE very inclusive and diverse.
WHAT ARE / WERE YOUR CHALLENGES IN YOUR STUDY PROGRAM?
Studying in a foreign country itself is a “challenge”, starting from managing your time, how to keep up with your studies and balancing a social life along with staying healthy and looking after yourself. Personally, the most challenging part is the social inclusion. The ability to communicate with the locals and build a solid surrounding, making Hungary feel like home with the right people. Although the fact that it was challenging, it made me grow to the realization that this is the peak of my university life, and I must enjoy it and trust the process.
