Hello everyone! I am Zeynep, a Turkish master's student, infinitely interested in histories and cultures (the Egyptians believed the most significant thing you could do in your life was to die). I like to do sports, especially outdoors, and never miss a chance to enjoy good weather. You are likely to see me in a cafe one day and another in a random cave.

WHAT STOOD OUT TO YOU ABOUT ELTE?

At first glance, the campus was intriguing, and later looking into it, I realized how vast the departments are and how each of them are very comprehensive. The opportunities for learning from multiple disciplines were attractive to me.

WHAT MAKES STUDYING AT ELTE SO GREAT?

At ELTE, I felt like everyone was so eager to help the international students and support them. All the department staff and international coordinators are supportive, understanding, and generous.

WHAT ARE OR WERE YOUR CHALLENGES IN YOUR STUDY PROGRAM?

For me, it is mostly trying to understand the expectations as a result of not coming from a Bologna education system.

I believe a Master's degree from ELTE and a strong Thesis guided by the instructors will help me achieve great opportunities in a PhD and the following academic career.

DO YOU HAVE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUTURE STUDENTS AT ELTE?

Research your department's opportunities and instructors. Most of them are more than eager to assist, guide, and answer the questions of international students. Enthusiasm is very well appreciated in this school.
