WHAT STOOD OUT TO YOU ABOUT ELTE?

ELTE ranks among the top 5% of Higher Studies Institutions worldwide, and has a reputation for being supportive of the arts with its expansive list of programs in Humanities. The Film Studies curriculum offered an ideal balance of practical handson training along with an academic focus on learning in class. A degree at ELTE holds high recognition all across the world.

To continuously grow with creativity and innovation by constantly reinventing yourself is always something an artist struggles with, yet, the curriculum at ELTE provides a holistic environment to overcome these challenges. To work in inclusive spaces that allow you to truly be yourself and embrace each other’s differences as a strength is a learning I had at ELTE.

HOW DO YOU THINK YOUR DEGREE WILL HELP YOU IN YOUR LIFE AND CAREER?

A degree in film at ELTE will give me the competitive advantage required to work in the entertainment industry worldwide. It will enable me opportunities to tell stories that matter. The degree will embolden my voice as an artist and give me the academic backing required to stand my ground in a highly volatile industry. The network I build during my years at ELTE will be a stepping stone leading me to new professional opportunities.

DO YOU HAVE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUTURE STUDENTS AT ELTE?

Learning Hungarian as a language may seem daunting in the very beginning, but, if done with honesty, will lead you to many advantages during your stay in Budapest. Hungary is a beautiful country with a lot of historical and cultural importance worth exploring.
