What happens after I sign up?

After you sign up, we wait for the registration phase to end, and then we start matching students together based on the language interests. Of course, this phase is not very quick, as matching people takes time from two weeks to a month.

Now, you're matched...

1. Once you have been matched with your language exchange partner, you will receive an email from InSINC introducing you to each other. You will also gain access to the Moodle MOOC course, which will support and guide you throughout the 10-week exchange experience. Access to the Moodle MOOC course is only available through your student.elte.hu email address.
2. At the start of the program, a new module is released every Monday, offering you and your language exchange partner a variety of topics and activities to make the exchange engaging, interactive, and enjoyable. The frequency, timing, and format of your meetings throughout the week are entirely up to you and your partner, whether you choose to meet online or in person.

What happens after the 10 weeks?

1. After the 10-week program, your progress in the Moodle MOOC will be reviewed. Participants who complete at least 60% of the weekly check-ins are eligible for a digital certificate at the end of the program. 
2. An optional follow-up module is also available for those who wish to continue their exchange into the next semester and academic year, featuring monthly challenges to maintain engagement and connection.
