What does isolation look like in student life?
How do identity, belonging, and connection shape our experiences abroad and at university?

Join us for ISOLATION, a student-led film screening and interactive event organized by students of the ELTE Media and Communication Department. Through film, discussion, creativity, and shared experiences, the event explores themes of loneliness, migration, self-expression, and human connection in university life.

The program includes:

  • Film screening of ISOLATION

  • Panel discussion & Q&A

  • Creative reflection activity

  • Tips & advice exchange among students

  • Informal networking opportunity

  • Light snacks & refreshments (including gluten-free and lactose-free options)

The film was created by master’s students of the ELTE Media and Communication Department and serves as a starting point for conversations about identity, belonging, emotional wellbeing, and connection within international and university communities.

This event is in English language and the invitation is open to both Hungarian and international students.
