The “Kanagawa University Japanese Language and Culture Program Winter” will be held in January 2027.

This program is designed to provide the opportunity to learn Japanese language and culture to students from all over the world.

Program Period (JST)
 January 18 – January 29, 2027 (two weeks)  Japanese Class Level: Introductory - Pre-intermediate
 Capacity: 40 people
 Minimum number required: 15 people

*In the case that the number of applicants in a particular level  does not reach the minimum number, 15 people, the level will not  be held.

Fees  

• Application fee (Non-refundable):JPY 12,000

• Program fee :JPY 78,000

The fees does not include overseas travel insurance fee, round-trip air fare, meals, housing, living expenses,  transportation expenses, medical expenses etc.
Besides the Fees above, taking out the overseas travel  insurance by the participants is mandatory.
 As Kanagawa university does not arrange for the insurance,  the applicants will need to arrange all the procedure for  the insurance by themselves before the departure.
 The insurance period should cover from the day before the  program starts through the Sunday after the program ends.
