Within the classes, plenty of international students from various cultural backgrounds work together. To be honest, I can't even express how much I appreciate having them around me.”

Why ELTE?

ELTE is among the top universities in Hungary. Besides, if you would like to enjoy the colorful life in Europe, especially in such a city featuring both peace and craziness, then ELTE would be the optimal choice for you.

What do you like most about being a student at ELTE?

I would say, the circumstance of multiculturalism, which for me, is the most impressive image ever on my mind. Teachers here are really kind and make you feel that you are not only their student but their close friend. Within the classes, plenty of international students from various cultural backgrounds work together. To be honest, I can't even express how much I appreciate having them around me. I should say without hesitation that being a student at ELTE has been the most precious part throughout my life journey.

What are the challenges in your study program?

I can hardly find any reference to tough challenges in my two-year period of studies. It felt a little difficult during the first three months. Adaptation to local food, the Hungarian accent of English and the European public transportation system might have been the challenges at that time. Luckily, I finally came through it with the help of my beloved Hungarian classmates and teachers.

How do you think your degree will help you in your life and career?

I will not highlight the importance of my MA degree here for the future career because that is evident for everyone. What I have learned from the major itself really helped me change and upgrade myself from narrow-mindedness and prejudice. Learning to be an open-minded person without any prejudice, and discrimination, mutual respect for variety and equality are the most valuable lesson in my lifetime.

Do you have any advice for future students at ELTE?

Stay hungry and stay foolish here, then you may find ELTE as one of the most splendid episodes in your life.
